Juan Manuel Lopez Garduño

Juan Manuel Lopez is president of Edumundo, a subsidiary of ZoneZero.com, a Mexico City-based education-technology company. For more than a decade, Edumundo has played a pioneering role in nationwide government-sponsored programs to help rural and urban schools adopt computer technology in creative ways that match economic resources and cultural backgrounds. In addition to overall project management, Lopez is directly involved in the creative process that leads to the conceptual designs of the solutions Edumundo delivers. To merge technology and culture, he regularly taps into his background as an anthropologist. Born in the United States and raised in Mexico, Lopez has a special appreciation for the challenges of bringing together contrasting views and needs.
