Larry BacaLarry Baca is a consultant specializing in creative market development strategies for new companies and products. Bitten by the graphic arts bug as a “printer’s devil” in his early teens, he became a production-savvy designer and well-known industry veteran in desktop publishing and color management circles. The pioneering advocate of affordable, user-friendly color instrumentation as the basis for accurate color workflow, he was product manager for the first-of-breed COLORTRON™ handheld spectrophotometer for which he was awarded a U.S. patent relating to the use of spectral data in PostScript®-based workflow. He has served in consulting and marketing management roles for a variety of industry leaders/innovators, including Apple, Aldus, Adobe, Light Source, Pantone, X-Rite and Aurelon and is now collaborating with several prominent fine arts museums in a research project to develop much-needed new revenue streams. |
